Howard Jackson

He was also the founder and original chairman of the Northern Bursars Group and a Non-Executive Director of the National Bursars Association. Howard set up his own education finance consultancy business in 1993, from which he built HCSS Education a successful, innovative financial software company employing over 60 people. Howard has a real passion for providing opportunities for children, to help them develop skills and abilities that may previously have been unattainable and it is for that reason that Howard and his wife Lynne launched The School Bus Foundation.

Lynne Jackson

Lynne spent 4 years as a personal assistant to an insurance underwriter at Sun Alliance; in 1983 she left to have a baby and returned part time. Lynne has actively been involved with HCSS Education since its birth in 2003 as a main Board director. She was instrumental in the formation of The School Bus Foundation.

His experience within the education sector consists of being a House Master at the Magdalen College School, Head of Partner Management at Capita as well as a school mentor and Head of Physics department. David is eager to be involved with The School Bus Foundation as a Trustee and is keen to create opportunities that make a positive difference to disadvantaged children and young people in mainstream education.

Ian Humphries

He is now retired and supports the running of local charities as a trustee and as a volunteer.

Michael Green

Michael has spent just over 40 years as a Chartered Accountant which logically influenced his appointment as the Foundation Treasurer. During the 80’s he was a FD of an Engineering Group. Having worked alongside Howard Jackson for over 20 years, he acts as a non Executive Director to both HCSS Education and HCSS Hub Ltd. He firmly believes, if you can, you should support young people – it’s about giving something back to those in need.
